Of all the stars of the ring that the former absolute world champion in the heavyweight division had to fight, he chose Riddick Bowe. Holyfield called his countryman the best fighter he’s ever been in the ring with.
“I’ll say Riddick Bowe. I’ve fought him three times. Bowe is very competitive, he’s always in shape when he fights me,” Boxing Social quotes Holyfield as saying.
Remember that Riddick Bowe and Evander Holyfield fought three times. In the first fight, Bowe won by unanimous decision, in the second, Holyfield won by majority decision, and in the third, Riddick won an early victory in the 8th round.
