Former UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov responded to a rocket attack on a hospital in the Gaza Strip, calling the incident a genocide.
The athlete posted a photo on social media that read: “Bombarding a hospital full of children and people seeking shelter is not the path to peace. It’s genocide.”
“May Allah forgive us and all our brothers and sisters in Palestine, may Allah strengthen them on the true path and grant them patience. “No one deserves to be bombed just because they were born where they were born,” Nurmagomedov signed on a social network.
On October 7, armed conflict broke out between Israel and Palestine. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu declared in a speech to the nation that the country was in a state of war. The number of casualties in the Gaza Strip has exceeded 2,000 people and the death toll among Israeli residents has exceeded 1,000; several thousand Israelis and Palestinians were injured. On Tuesday evening, Al-Ahly Hospital in the Gaza Strip was attacked by rockets. The local Ministry of Health announced the deaths of 500 people.
