Athletistic/MMA. Former UFC champion in two weight categories Conor McGregor shared his opinion on the transition of Chechen native Khamzat Chimaev to middleweight. Chimaev will face former UFC welterweight champion Kamaru Usman in the middleweight division.
“Chimaev will be much easier at 84 kg. But he will have to meet serious opponents there, even if not in a fight with Usman. Chimaev has increased in weight.
This is the perfect fight for Khamzat. I look forward to the development of this story,” McGregor wrote on social media.

The fight between Chimaev and Usman will take place at UFC 294 in Abu Dhabi on October 21.
