Athletistic/MMA. Australian MMA fighter Alexander Volkanovski and Russian Islam Makhachev went through the weigh-in procedure before the title fight, which they will fight at the UFC 294 tournament in Abu Dhabi (UAE) on October 21. Both opponents have reached the lightweight limit.
Makhachev showed 70.31 kg on the scale. Volkanovski’s weight was 70.08 kg.

Recall that Makhachev and Volkanovski already met in the Octagon at the beginning of 2023. Then the Russian fighter won. The fight lasted all five rounds and Makhachev won by unanimous decision.
