Athletistic/MMA. UFC President Dana White commented on the remarks of Russian UFC champion Islam Makhachev regarding the outstanding American fighter Jon Jones.

Previously, Makhachev expressed dissatisfaction with Jones, who ranks first in the UFC rankings regardless of weight categories, saying that he never agreed to fights on short notice.

“I would like to express my views on this matter. What happened to Jon Jones is another aspect of our sport. Decisions are made not only by the fighters themselves, but also by their coaches. Many of our athletes agree to fight on short notice. In this case, the coaches advised Jones to refrain from doing so. At the same time, I would like to note that recently coaches are increasingly inclined to send their players into battle with minimal preparation time,” White said, as quoted by Sportskeeda.
