Russian karatekas will participate in the World Championships in Budapest (Hungary) as neutral athletes, according to the website of the World Karate Federation (WKF).
Yurik Hovhannisyan (up to 60 kg), Akhmed Akhmedov (up to 67 kg), Ernest Sharafutdinov (up to 75 kg), Eduard Gasparyan (up to 84 kg), Konstantin Kokovurov (over 84 kg), Konstantin Sutyagin (kata) will perform at the tournament.
Elizaveta Grigorieva (up to 50 kg), Anna Chernysheva (up to 55 kg), Anastasia Chupina (up to 61 kg), Anna Kudryavtseva (up to 68 kg), Sunita Khalimova (over 68 kg), Anna Shcherbina (kata) will participate in the women’s part of the competition).
The tournament will take place in Budapest from October 24 to 29.
