After the fight, Oleksandr plans to return to Ukraine

“I really did not want to leave our country. I didn’t want to leave our city. One day I went to the hospital where the wounded soldiers were being rehabilitated and they asked me to go fight. [с Джошуа]to fight for the country. They said that if I go to fight, I will help Ukraine more than if I fight here.”

“My family is not in Ukraine, but many of my close friends are still there. I am in touch with them every day. I ask them because it is very important to me how they feel. Are they in a safe place? I want to live there and immediately after the fight I will return to Ukraine.”

“My kids ask me, ‘Daddy, why do they want to kill us?’ And I don’t know what to tell them.”
