AJ not interested in helping Tyson ahead of Usyk rematch
Former World Heavyweight Champion Anthony Joshua not interested in helping Tyson Fury to prepare for a rematch against Oleksandr Usyk.
Fury has repeatedly said that only he can help AJ defeat the Ukrainian.
“Is there anything I can learn from him? Honestly, no. You are a retired person. Go and have a beer, relax, help other people who need it. Why are you talking about me?” Joshua said.
“Fury is an interesting character, but I would not agree to his help. I do my thing and he does his. Good luck to him in all his endeavors.”
The rematch between Joshua and Usyk will take place on August 20 in Saudi Jeddah.
The first fight of the boxers ended with the victory of Usyk, who took away the WBA, WBO, IBF and IBO heavyweight championship belts from Joshua.
