Athletistic/MMA. Last night in Abu Dhabi during the UFC 294 MMA tournament, a duel between the Russian Islam Makhachev and the Australian Alex Volkanovski took place. The fight ended with the victory of the Russian athlete.
Volkanovski turned to Makhachev after losing his title fight
In the first round, Volkanovski was eliminated. He missed a powerful blow to the head, after which he could not stand.
The referee stopped the fight after Makhachev began to finish his opponent.
Note that the Russian fighter defended his championship title for the second time in his career. In early 2023, he also beat Volkanovski, but the fight later ended in a decision.
