Athletistic/MMA. Brazilian mixed martial arts fighter Paulo Costa joked that he had to give up several victories for winning a fight with three Chechens. The South American did not share anything with the fans who were in the Abu Dhabi arena, where the UFC 294 tournament took place.
“Technically, I fought at UFC 294. In Abu Dhabi, I already defeated three Chechens. Give me my victories!”, Costa wrote on his social media page.
Costa had an altercation during the fight between Swedish fighter of Chechen origin Khamzat Chimaev and American Kamaru Usman. In this fight, Chimaev won by decision. Interestingly, it was Costa who was originally supposed to fight Khamzat at UFC 294, but dropped out of the fight due to injury.
