Athletistic / Hockey. The head of the Chechen Republic Ramzan Kadyrov spoke about the premature end of the fight between the Russian Magomed Ankalaev and the Brazilian Johnny Walker. The organizers declared this fight invalid.
“The fight of another of our brothers, Magomed Ankalaev, with the Brazilian Johnnie Walker was declared invalid. The fight was stopped after Magomed unintentionally delivered a prohibited blow. I believe that Walker could have continued the fight, and the meeting had to be resumed. so that Ankalaev could bring it to its logical conclusion. I am sure that “Magomed would have achieved victory earlier than expected,” Kadyrov wrote on his Telegram channel.
During the fight, Ankalaev, pressing his opponent to the net, hit him with his knee to the head at a time when Walker was on three points of support, which is prohibited by the regulations. The referee immediately stopped the fight. After that, a doctor was invited to the octagon and, after examining the Brazilian fighter, said that Johnny could not continue the fight.
