The former Ukrainian boxer was amazed at the number of punches Samuel Peter got.
Vladimir Klitschko recalls his professional career and names the boxer he most admires for his stamina.
According to the former world champion, he encountered it in 2005, when he entered the ring against Samuel Peter.
“Samuel Peter in 2005. I took a lot of hits, and in the 12th round, I thought I broke a knuckle with a left hook.
The man was staggering, but still standing on his feet. I think I took away his spirit in that fight. He was very surprised. In the first match, his determination and will to win was amazing,” Dazn told Vladimir.
Vladimir met Peter twice in the ring. The first fight took place in September 2005, when the Ukrainian won by unanimous decision. Five years later, in a rematch, Klitschko won by technical knockout in the tenth round.
We remind you that Riddick Bowe previously named the strongest boxer he ever fought in the ring.
