Athletistic/MMA. Former UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov turned his attention to Australian fighter Alexander Volkanovski following his defeat in a fight against Russian Islam Makhachev.
On Saturday, October 21, Makhachev knocked out Volkanovski in the first round and successfully defended the UFC lightweight belt. The fight took place in Abu Dhabi as part of the UFC 294 tournament.
“We respect Alex a lot and wish him all the best. He is a wonderful person and a great champion with a big heart,” Nurmagomedov wrote on his social networks.
Alexander Volkanovski has 26 victories and three defeats in MMA.
