The British boxer confirmed the timing of the fight for the title of absolute world champion.
Tyson Fury continues to accuse Oleksandr Usik of avoiding the fight for the title of absolute world champion. However, now, according to the British boxer, there is a contract between the parties, and therefore the fight will definitely take place.
The WBC super heavyweight title holder has expressed confidence in meeting the Ukrainian in the ring as previously planned – before the end of this year. In the past, December 23 was mentioned as a potential date for the battle.
“Usyk is a sausage, I expect our fight to take place in December, that’s what I was told, so I have no reason not to believe it.
Usyk must fight me in December, he has no choice. He signed a contract, so if he doesn’t, he’s in breach of contract, he’ll be sued, so he has no choice,” Fury was quoted as saying by Sky Sports.
Let’s remember that earlier the promoter spoke about the financial conditions of the fight between Usik and Fury.
