Russian MMA fighter Vyacheslav Vasilyevsky spoke about a potential fight between Sergei Pavlovich and the American Jon Jones.
Earlier, UFC chief Dana White announced that Pavlovich would fight Aspinall for the UFC interim heavyweight title. The fight will take place at UFC 295 in New York on November 11. The fight became possible because current champion Jones was injured and will not fight Stipe Miocic.
– If Jones does not want to retire, then he will have to fight with Pavlovich if he wins. This fight is not good for John, because the chances of losing to Sergei are great, and if he wins, he won’t get much. Jones beat everyone, and here comes Pavlovich, who is on the rise and is not yet strong in the media space like he is in the octagon. Therefore, Jones does not win anything – and if he loses, it will not be the best turn at the end of his career, – Vasilevsky quotes “Championship”.
All UFC tournaments are broadcast live on the channel.
