The WBC super heavyweight champion spoke about his latest online conversation with the Ukrainian boxer.
Tyson Fury said he received an invitation from Alexander Usik to visit Ukraine. According to the British boxer, it happened during the last video call.
However, the WBC super heavyweight champion rejected the offer from the holder of the WBA, WBO, IBO and IBF titles.
“I spoke to Usyk on FaceTime. He was there at the table, my manager Spencer was there, Alexander and his manager were also there. We had a fight, that’s all. I even invited him to Morecambe Bay after I beat him.
He goes to Morecambe with his family in the summer. He said it would be great. I said, “You can come here with your family, take a vacation after the match, no problem.” He even invited me to Ukraine, but I declined for obvious reasons,” Fury told iFL TV.
Let’s remember that Fury has previously named the most important thing for himself in boxing.
