The Riyadh championship belt will be at stake in the Fury-Ngannou fight
WBC World Heavyweight Champion Tyson Fury believes he can easily knock out the former UFC champion Francis Ngannou.
“I have no doubt that I can knock him out. Ngannou will see that there are different levels in boxing.”
The 10-round fight between Fury and former UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou will take place on October 28 in the Saudi capital of Riyadh. The WBC granted Tyson special permission to fight the former UFC champion.
The Riyadh championship belt will be at stake in the Fury-Ngannou fight. The British promoter Frank Warren presented a special trophy at a joint press conference.
It is expected that immediately after this fight the final date for the unification fight between Fury and WBO/WBA/IBF/IBO belt holder Alexander Usyk will be confirmed. According to the “Gypsy King”, the meeting in the ring with the Ukrainian specified in the contract is December 23, 2023.
