Former UFC middleweight champion Israel Adesanya said when he plans to resume his career.
Adesanya lost to Sean Strickland by unanimous decision on September 10 and lost the organization’s championship belt. After that, he announced the suspension of his sports career.
— I received so many messages. Guys, I’m not dead. I haven’t finished my career. I want to say: “Calm down!”
I’m alive. I’ll be back in 2027. “We’ll see you then,” MMA Mania quoted Adesanya as saying.
During his professional career, Adesanya, 34, has won 24 times and suffered three defeats. Since April 2019, the fighter has had 11 title fights in the UFC.
