British boxer Tyson Fury said he did not intend to be knocked down in a fight with Cameroonian Francis Ngannou.
Tyson Fury defeated Francis Ngannou in a boxing match. The fight took place on Sunday evening in Saudi Arabia and lasted ten rounds. Fury won by split decision. At the end of the third round, Ngannou knocked down Fury.
– It definitely wasn’t in the script. Francis is a very difficult opponent, he is a good puncher. As a boxer he is better than we expected. For me it was one of the toughest fights in the last ten years,” Fury said after the fight.
Fury is WBC world champion, the 35-year-old Briton is undefeated in the professional ring. Ngannou, 37, has 17 wins and three losses in MMA.
