The former UFC champion said he had a great experience
Former UFC world champion Francis Ngannou stated that he is ready for a rematch with the WBC title holder Tyson Fury.
“We can do this again and I’m sure I’ll do better. This was my first boxing match. It was a great experience. I don’t give any excuses. I know I failed. I’m going to come back and work harder with a little more experience and a little more feel for the game. And I will come back even stronger.”
“I was a little nervous at first. This is a new sport that I have never tried. Now I know I can do this shit. So get ready.”
Fury defeated Ngannou to win the Riyadh title. The fight, according to boxing rules, lasted all the allotted 10 rounds, as a result of which two judges gave the victory to Fury, one to Ngannou. In the third round, Francis knocked down Tyson, but the Briton managed to return to the fight.
Fury intends to fight his next fight with WBO/WBA/IBF/IBO world champion Alexander Usik. The British promoter Frank Warren said that he cannot yet name the exact date of the fight between Usyk and Fury. The Briton suffered a cut and will need time to recover.
