In the co-main event of UFC 276 in Las Vegas Alex Volkanovski in the featherweight division defeated Max Holloway by unanimous decision and became the first fighter in promotion history to defeat the same opponent three times in title fights, according to ESPN Stats & Info’s Twitter.
The Aussie also became the fourth fighter in UFC history to win the promotion’s first 12 bouts, repeating the feats of Anderson Silva, Kamaru Usman and Khabiba Nurmagomedova .
Volkanovski, 33, has 25 wins and one loss in MMA.
