Former UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov shared his memories of the fight with the Irishman Conor McGregor .
The Russian’s fight with McGregor took place in October 2018; Khabib won by choke.
“I remember the night of the fight when we had to fight him. I was very busy and couldn’t wait for the octagon to close. For me, from a purely sporting point of view, it was very interesting to know what this guy would do with my pressure, my wrestling, my control from above, my mind, my endurance. I wanted to feel its power, its speed, its precision and its timing. Then he and I were 30, we were in our prime. It was interesting for me and as a fan. Not just because he is my adversary, my enemy or anything else.
