The Briton defeated the former UFC champion by split decision
WBC heavyweight belt holder Tyson Fury stated that he would like to have a rematch with the former UFC champion Francis Ngannou. However, first the Briton will have a fight with the WBO/WBA/IBF/IBO world champion Alexander Usik.

The Briton confirmed that his next fight will be with Usyk. The fight between the Ukrainian and British champions, who signed a contract for the fight for the title of absolute world champion, is planned to be held on December 23 or January 2024 in Saudi Arabia.
The contract for the fight for the absolute heavyweight title between Usik and Fury contains a rematch clause. The clause applies to both boxers; the loser can initiate a re-fight.
