The legendary former world boxing champion may have another fight.
The only eight-division world boxing champion in history, Manny Pacquiao, and the former five-division world champion, Floyd Mayweather, will meet again in the ring.
According to the Pinoy boxer, negotiations are currently ongoing for the fight, which could take place in December of this year.
“I have an exhibition fight this December. In Japan. We are working with Floyd Mayweather. We can arrange a professional fight if he wants. Negotiations are ongoing.
Fight with Conor McGregor? He’s not fighting anymore,” Pacquiao said on Fight Hub TV.
Let’s remember that the last fight between Pacquiao and Mayweather took place in 2015. Then Floyd won by unanimous decision.
In the past, Pacquiao announced his intention to participate in the 2024 Olympics in Paris.
