Athletistic/MMA. Former UFC lightweight champion Charles Oliveira has spoken about his plans in case Russian Islam Makhachev moves up to welterweight. Makhachev is currently the UFC lightweight champion.

The rivals were supposed to fight at the UFC 294 tournament in Abu Dhabi (UAE). But their fight failed due to the Brazilian’s injury.

“I’m not one of those guys who sends messages myself. I’m just doing my job, I’m doing it. Everyone is campaigning, trying to put themselves in context to sell fights. Even Islam itself- even said he might want to move up in weight, why not.

Ngannou could fight Wilder

Maybe the UFC will put someone in place to fight for the interim belt. And maybe Gaethje will find himself in that situation. He has a great story, he’s a great fighter and a great guy,” Oliveira said as quoted by TNT Sports Argentina.
