Athletistic / Boxing. The fight for the title of absolute world heavyweight boxing champion between the British Tyson Fury and the Ukrainian Alexander Usik will take place in early 2024. The long-awaited event will take place in February in Riyadh (Saudi Arabia).

This fight was initially scheduled for December 23, 2023, but its postponement was influenced by Fury’s fight with Cameroonian Francis Ngannou, which took place in Riyadh last Saturday October 28. Last week, the Briton suffered a cut above his left eye and forehead and was knocked down in the third round for just the seventh time in his professional career. As a result, Tyson defeated Ngannou by split decision.

Alexander Usik now holds the WBA, WBO and IBF championship belts. During his career, the Ukrainian won 21 victories in 21 fights (14 by knockout). Fury holds the WBC title and has won 34 fights (24 by knockout) with one draw.
