Athletistic/MMA. American mixed martial arts fighter Derrick Lewis responded to a question about a possible contract with a Russian promotion. The 38-year-old heavyweight ruled out such a development.
“I don’t think I’ll ever go to Russia. Even if they give me $10 million there, I don’t think I’ll be there,” Lewis said, as quoted by Metaratings.ru.
Derrick Lewis is currently ranked tenth in the UFC heavyweight rankings. During his career, the American won 27 victories in MMA (22 by knockout), suffered 11 defeats and another of his fights was declared invalid. Lewis will fight his next fight on the night of November 5 at the UFC Fight Night tournament in Sao Paulo (Brazil), where his opponent will be Brazilian Gailton Almeida.
