Eddie Hearn believes that the WBC super heavyweight champion will not survive the embarrassment of his fight with Ngannou.
Tyson Fury may soon end his professional boxing career and not enter the ring against Alexander Usik. Well-known promoter Eddie Hearn thinks so.
According to the functionary, the holder of the WBC super heavyweight title could make such a move after a disastrous performance in the fight with Francis Ngannou, despite the victory.
“I wouldn’t be surprised if Fury retires and doesn’t fight Usyk. After the fight, you indulge yourself for a few days, and then you have a crisis.
How long will it take Fury to overcome this slump? Three or four weeks? February sounds too fast for me,” Hearn was quoted as saying by Boxing Social.
We remind you that Ngannou is requesting a rematch of the fight with Fury.
