Athletistic/ MMA. Former UFC lightweight champion, Russian MMA fighter Khabib Nurmagomedov shared his emotions about being included in the UFC Hall of Fame.
“It means a lot to me. It’s times like this that you understand what matters in the UFC. Because we had tough times at the start of my career. But since the end of my career, they still show respect to this day, and I’m glad of that. The feeling that your life’s work paid off,” Nurmagomedov said.
Khabib Nurmagomedov has fought 29 professional mixed martial arts bouts, winning every one of them. Khabib spent 13 fights under the auspices of the UFC sports organization. The last fight of Nurmagomedov’s career took place on October 24, 2020: in it, the Russian defeated American Justin Gaethje by second-round choke.
