Russian mixed-style fighter Maxim Divnich has explained why he decided to take a break from his professional career.
— I have a little break. You need to reorganize your life a little. I do a lot of social activities. And there is little time left for sport. Before, I only lived for sport. Morning, evening – training, routine, sleep. But lately, I don’t have as much fun, nor such an opportunity.
Social activities consume all my time. If before my life was 90% devoted to sport, today it is 10%. Because there are more important things to do. Let’s see. You have to think, analyze. It all depends on the opponents and the proposals,” Divnich said at the Championship.
In mixed martial arts, the 34-year-old Russian won 15 victories and was defeated in October by David Khachatryan in a fight according to the rules of boxing with MMA gloves.
