Russian Ibragim Islamov lost to the representative of Uzbekistan Timur Nikulin in a fight at a boxing evening in Sochi.
The fight ended with Nikulin winning in the third round by technical knockout.
These fighters have already competed in a boxing match this year; Nikulin scored a quick victory thanks to Islamov’s disqualification.
In another fight of the evening, Uzbekistan’s representative Khasanboy Dusmatov defeated South Africa’s Sifamandla Baleni by unanimous decision. For Dusmatov, this is the sixth victory in a row in the professional ring.
