Athletistic / Boxing. The American boxer, contender for the title of world heavyweight champion, Jared Anderson, was arrested the day before, October 6, by the Oregon State Police (USA). The 23-year-old athlete is charged with improperly handling a firearm in a vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or drugs, and driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
According to ESPN, Anderson ended up spending a little over eight hours in jail and was later released on bail.
Currently, Jared Anderson has fought 16 fights in professional boxing and achieved 16 victories. He is currently ranked 15th in BoxRec’s heavyweight rankings and sixth in ESPN’s rankings. In his last fight, the American defeated Ukrainian Andrey Rudenko by technical knockout in the fifth round. Their fight took place on August 26, 2023 in Tulsa (Oklahoma, USA).
