Russian heavyweight Sergei Pavlovich admitted that winning the championship belt in the UFC has been his dream since childhood.
On November 11 in New York at UFC 295, Pavlovich will face Britain’s Tom Aspinel for the UFC interim heavyweight title.
— Fighting for the belt has been my dream since childhood. I always wanted to get into the UFC and fight for the belt. I think Aspinel is a tough guy who can strike as well as wrestle. I think the fight will be a lot of fun: two people who want the belt will enter the cage. It will be a real war,” Pavlovich said, as quoted by the UFC press service.
The Russian has won 18 times and suffered one loss during his MMA career. Pavlovich, 31, finished his last six fights ahead of schedule in the first round. Aspinel, 30 years old, has 13 victories and three defeats.
