Athletistic/MMA. British mixed martial arts fighter Tom Aspinall said that he would be able to overcome all circumstances and defeat Russian Sergei Pavlovich in the title fight for the UFC interim heavyweight belt. Their fight will take place on November 11 in New York (USA) during the UFC 295 tournament.

“In New York, I’m fighting the scariest guy in MMA. I think I’m in the worst possible circumstances right now with no training camp. But obviously the only thing on my mind is that I can win at the end. I’m not one to go into the octagon for the money. I don’t sign a contract and fight unless I’m sure I can win it. Now I truly believe that this time I will win.

Pavlovich is an extremely dangerous guy. Like me. “I’m just focused on this fight and having fun with it,” Aspinall said according to MMA Junkie.

Sergei Pavlovich has won 18 victories and suffered one defeat in MMA. The 31-year-old Russian finished his last six fights ahead of schedule in the first round. Tom Aspinall has 13 victories and three defeats in mixed martial arts.

Note that the current holder of the UFC heavyweight championship belt, American Jon Jones, was supposed to meet his compatriot Stipe Miocic at UFC 295, but due to a shoulder injury from Jones, this fight was canceled.
