A village in Dagestan was renamed after Khabib Nurmagomedov’s father

Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin signed a decree renaming the village of Kirovaul, Kizilyurt district of Dagestan, in honor of honored coach of Russia Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov.

Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov is the father of the former UFC champion Khabib Nurmagomedova . During his career, he trained 18 world combat sambo champions. The coach died on July 3, 2020 at the age of 57 due to complications from the coronavirus.
