McGregor could return to the Octagon in the summer of 2024, UFC chief White said.

Manager of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Dana White said the Irish fighter Conor McGregor could resume his sporting career in the summer of 2024.

– He’s fine, he’s ready. Conor wants to fight. He will have to wait six months to resume doping controls. So it’s quite possible that we could see him in the octagon in the summer of 2024,” White told the Daily Mail.

McGregor fought his last fight in July 2021 in the lightweight category against Dustin Poirier. The Irishman lost by technical knockout, suffering from a broken leg. In total, he won 22 times and suffered six losses during his career.
