The university’s national teams are the strongest in Russia in sports like judo, karate and kickboxing. This year, the Gorny kickboxing team won gold in the team event of the St. Petersburg Student Sports League kickboxing competition.
The master class of the most successful Russian kickboxer Vladislav Tuinov became a highly anticipated event at the Mining University and was attended by more than 50 kickboxer students from the university sports club “Gornyak”.
