Russian Ksenia Zadvornova won a gold medal at the 2023 World Sambo Championships, taking place in Yerevan.
In the final fight in the weight category up to 72 kg, she defeated Angela Zhilinskaya from Belarus with a score of 9:3.
The World Sambo Championships take place in Yerevan from November 10 to 12. Russian and Belarusian athletes participate in the tournament in neutral status.
