Russian Ramed Gukev won a gold medal at the 2023 World Sambo Championships, which are being held in Yerevan.
In the final fight in the weight category up to 71 kilograms, Gukev defeated Armenian Aram Agadzhanyan with a score of 3:0.
The World Sambo Championships take place in Yerevan from November 10 to 12. Russian and Belarusian athletes participate in the tournament in neutral status.
