Brazilian Alex Pereira defeated the Czech Jiri Prochazka in the main fight at UFC 295 in New York (USA).
The fight for the vacant UFC light heavyweight title ended in a second-round technical knockout.
The victory was Pereira’s ninth in mixed martial arts. Prochazka has four defeats and 29 victories. Before this tournament, the Czech fighter already had a fight in June 2022, when Prochazka defeated Brazilian representative Glover Teixeira by choke.
Earlier at UFC 295, Russian Sergei Pavlovich lost by knockout to Briton Tom Aspinall in the first round in the fight for the UFC interim heavyweight title.
