But yes… probably, with a certain advantage, I would consider Pavlovich the favorite. I am going to explain. It seems to me that a fight where both aren’t good enough wouldn’t be an argument. Seryoga is a little better at striking technique, although Sanya is more diverse. It’s just that the kicks wouldn’t have such a colossal significance here.

“No, but I was surprised from the start by Aspinall’s confidence.” I watched this fight and thought Aspinall was bad and Seryoga was good. That’s all. But good people don’t become champions. “Aren’t you afraid that Pavlovich’s aura will collapse now?”

– That Pavlovich can still hit and hits, yes. But now everyone was starting to remember his loss to Overeem. People say: “But Pavlovich is an ordinary person, he can lose.” He must win convincingly again. And then the aura will return. But now it won’t be easy, because Aspinall didn’t even get him to the ground. He went out and did everything equally. Morally outdated.

— Can you imagine how sambo wrestler Ivan Shtyrkov can defeat kickboxer Vladimir Mineev according to the rules of kickboxing?

— How Bob Sapp defeated Ernesto Hoost. Hit a lot. Be functionally ready. The ring is a small place, it’s not a 10 meter cage, you can’t run in it in class. We will have to fight. Mineev had issues with Rodriguez when he forced him to fight.

– Boxing. Because the MMA is planned in a year. This is included in the program of events and will take place in the Urals.

— Do you still need to raise funds for the Mineev vs. Ismailov boxing fight or are there any sponsors?

— There are sponsors, but we will also start raising money. Now Mineev and Shtyrkov will fight, and we will start, because I want to get an answer to the question: do people need it or not? Vote with rubles. Because they can say a lot about certain battles: “We need this.”

— Not long ago, you suggested that Alexei Makhno move up to middleweight to fight Dmitry Aryshev for the interim title. At the same time, the champion Vladimir Mineev fights in kickboxing. When will Vladimir defend his MMA belt, and why hasn’t he fought in two years?

— Because for an MMA fight, in order to prepare for such a fight up to 84 kg, Vladimir needs a good full-fledged camp. But Volodya doesn’t have it. He prepared for two weeks – it’s good that he’s in good shape after the September fight. And so, he trained with the Russian team and that’s it.
