Athletistic/ Boxing. The WBA light heavyweight world champion, Russian Dmitry Bivol, will defend his belt in a duel with Briton Lyndon Arthur. This fight will take place on December 23 in Riyadh (Saudi Arabia).

According to Boxingnews24, it was initially planned that Bivol would defend the title in a fight with American Richard Rivera, but ultimately the organizers’ plans changed and Arthur received the championship fight.

Dmitry Bivol has won 21 victories in 21 fights (11 by KO). In his last fight in November 2022, he beat former super middleweight world champion (up to 76.2 kg) Mexican Gilberto Ramirez by unanimous decision.

During his career, Lyndon Arthur fought 24 fights, won 23 victories (16 by knockout) and suffered his only defeat in a fight with Anthony Yarde in 2021. Interestingly, the previous year, Lyndon defeated Yarde sensationally at points.
