Former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) champion in two weight classes, Irish Conor McGregor said he would like to have a rematch with the Russian Khabib Nurmagomedov .
Responding to a question on social media who he would like to meet again if he had the chance to choose, McGregor wrote: “With Khabib. He’s the biggest coward.” The 35-year-old Irishman later deleted the post.
In October 2018, Nurmagomedov defeated McGregor to retain the UFC lightweight title. Subsequently, the Russian fighter also scored victories over Dustin Poirier and Justin Gaethje, then retired without losing a single one of his 29 fights. McGregor has 22 wins and six losses in mixed martial arts.
