Athletistic/MMA. Former UFC champion in two weight categories, Irish fighter Conor McGregor has announced his desire to have another fight with American Dustin Poirier. Previously, they had already entered the same octagon three times.
“Really, let’s do it – it has to be done. The problem is not resolved yet,” McGregor responded to a fan who asked him about a possible fight with Poirier.
Note that earlier John Kavanagh, Conor’s trainer, said that the return of his ward to the cage was postponed until the summer of 2024. According to the mentor, McGregor could fight in July next year.
On July 10, 2021, the UFC 264 mixed martial arts tournament took place in Las Vegas (USA), in the main fight of which Conor McGregor and Dustin Poirier fought. Poirier won in the first round after McGregor broke his leg. Since then, the Irishman has continued to recover from his injury.
