Ukrainian Bellator welterweight champion Yaroslav Amosov (27-0) and Jason Jackson (16-4) from Jamaica passed the official weighing ceremony. Both fighters showed the same weight – 76.9 kg.
The Amosov-Jackson fight will take place on November 18 in Chicago, America, as part of the Bellator 301 tournament. The welterweight title fight will be the central event of the event.
In the last fight, Amosov defeated Logan Storley by unanimous decision and defended his title. After the fight, the Ukrainian addressed a message to the world and thanked the Armed Forces of Ukraine and everyone who helps our country.
Amosov first became Bellator champion in June 2021, defeating Douglas Lima via unanimous decision. Jackson defeated the Brazilian in June 2022.
