Russian MMA fighter Vladimir Minev explained to why he came to the pre-fight press conference with Ivan Shtyrkov wearing a T-shirt with the image of the late leader of the Donetsk People’s Republic, Alexander Zakharchenko.

— Alexander Vladimirovich Zakharchenko is the first leader of the DPR, the republic that I represent. He is the man who was behind the creation of the Veles club, which I defend.
— Did you know him personally?
“No, unfortunately it didn’t work,” Mineev told .
