The fight according to the rules of kickboxing took place in Sochi and ended with the victory of Vladimir Mineev by unanimous decision of the judges (30-29, 30-27, 30-27). The fight lasted three rounds.
– I haven’t been in the ring for a long time, the downtime is taking its toll a bit. Ivan is a great guy, a strong guy. Today he proved to everyone that he is a difficult opponent. It’s good that everything went well. I didn’t like that Ivan was underestimated. A second fight awaits us, we signed a contract for two fights,” Mineev said immediately after the fight.
