In the Brazilian duel at UFC Vegas 82, Amanda Ribas knocked out Luana Pinheiro this Saturday, 18. She got the better of her compatriot by technical knockout in the third round of the event in Las Vegas, in the United States. In the main fight, brendan allen overcame Paul Craig by completion.
After getting the worst of the initial round, Amanda recovered in the confrontation and confirmed her triumph over Luana. The Minas Gerais native saw Pinheiro engaging her with powerful blows in the opening minutes, but managed to balance the actions after reversing the bases. In the third and final round, the woman from Paraíba got tired in the final stretch and was knocked out by her opponent.

“Strawweight category, I’m back, and you have to respect it. I have a purpose because the UFC changed my life and that of my family. I had eye surgery, I fought twice at 57 kg this year. I am very happy to be here. UFC, I love you”said Amanda, after the victory, in the octagon.
