Usik – Fury: For you I am a small man, but I am a big champion

The next round in the verbal duel of two champions again belonged to the Ukrainian

WBO/WBA/IBF/IBO heavyweight title holder Alexander Usik answered his future opponent, WBC world champion Tyson Furywhen he once again compared the dimensions of the two boxers.

“Yes, I am a small person. For you, I am a small person, but I am a big champion,” the Ukrainian addressed the Briton.

Let us remember that Alexander previously said that he was mentally prepared for a confrontation with Tyson. Before this, during a duel of glances, Usyk and Fury collided with their foreheads and began to push. Tyson also, in his characteristic manner, began to insult the Ukrainian champion.

The Usik-Fury fight for the title of absolute heavyweight champion will officially take place on February 17 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Initially, the fight between Usik and Fury was planned to be organized on December 23 in Riyadh. However, it later became clear that the “Gypsy King” would not have time to prepare for this time after the fight with Francis Ngannou at the end of October.

Fury defeated Ngannou via split decision. It was reported that the Briton received two cuts in a fight with the former UFC champion.

Usik fought his last fight on August 27 in Wroclaw, Poland. The Ukrainian knocked out Daniel Dubois in the 9th round and defended his championship titles.
