Hrgovic: I’m next in line for the title and will fight the winner of the Usyk-Fury fight

If the IBF belt becomes vacant, the Croatian will have to meet the winner of the Joshua-Wallin fight

Croatian heavyweight Filip Hrgovic confirmed that he intends to fight for the world title with the winner of the confrontation Alexandra Usika With Tyson Fury.

“I’m next in line for the world heavyweight title. I will fight the winner of the Oleksandr Usyk vs Tyson Fury fight. Or if they vacate the title and want a rematch, I’ll fight the next best guy in the IBF rankings. It will be the winner of the fight between Anthony Joshua and Otto Wallin.”

Philip is awaiting the results of the fight for the undisputed heavyweight title between Usyk and Tyson Fury. The winner of the fight between Alexander and Tyson will be required to defend the IBF belt without any intermediate fights. Otherwise, the belt will become vacant, and the Croatian will need to find an opponent for the title fight.

Hrgovic, in his last fight, defeated Australian Demsey McKean at a boxing evening in London at the O2 Arena. The Croatian retained his mandatory challenger status for the IBF heavyweight title, which he achieved last August by defeating Zhang Zhilei.
